In 2020, The Elephant Foundation is continuing to focus and expand our work in education. The idea of Hong Kong Wildlife Warriors is to introduce students to endangered wildlife through a local program targeting schools in Hong Kong.
It is an education program, designed to promote intergenerational knowledge sharing, innovative thinking, and proactive wildlife conservation. The ultimate aim of the program is to link students in Hong Kong with the same age groups at schools in Kenya thus making the program international and cross-cultural.
The program is aimed to create a generation of Wildlife Warriors; young advocates and champions of conservation who meaningfully work within their communities and contribute to sustainable and responsible solutions to matters affecting the environment, conservation and human wildlife conflict.
The wildlife warrior program gives young people aged 4 - 18 years the opportunity to:-
Grow your knowledge of illegal wildlife trade, especially on ivory, rhino horn and trafficking in other endangered species.
Discover ways to help to conserve these animals, be their voices, raise funds and awareness to support our conservation efforts and earn fundraising points along the way.
Take part in protecting wildlife in your community by completing conservation missions - the little things can make a huge difference.
